Job Description

Cavenaugh Media is looking for someone who can operate as a true right hand to the founder of a growing marketing agency.


This is not a traditional administrative role. It is a high-ownership position focused on helping manage priorities, protect the founder’s time, and ensure both business and personal operations run smoothly.


Cavenaugh Media is a Dallas-based marketing agency that helps businesses grow through digital advertising, SEO, web design, and CRM strategy. As the company continues to scale, the complexity of day-to-day operations increases as well. This role exists to bring structure, organization, and execution support across both business and personal responsibilities.


You will work directly alongside the founder in person and play a key role in keeping priorities organized, tasks moving forward, and operations running efficiently.

What You'll Own


Calendar management

Maintain the founder’s schedule, coordinate meetings, prepare notes when needed, and protect focus time.


Task management

Collect priorities across business and personal responsibilities and ensure important items are tracked and completed.


Communication coordination

Help manage inbox activity, draft responses, and ensure follow-ups happen when they should.


Personal logistics

Handle appointments, vendors, bills, travel arrangements, and general life administration.


Sales support

Manage post-call follow-ups, coordinate next steps, and help keep the sales pipeline organized.


Travel planning

Plan and organize travel logistics from start to finish.


Recruiting coordination

Help manage applicants, interview scheduling, and onboarding support.


Internal project tracking

Ensure internal initiatives and projects stay organized and moving forward.


Technology & workflow support

Use modern tools and AI assistants to research information, draft documents, organize notes, and improve internal workflows.

Who We're Looking For


Experience matters, but mindset matters more.


You are an excellent communicator. Clear written and verbal communication is essential in this role.


You are highly organized and detail-oriented, and you naturally build systems that keep things from

slipping through the cracks.


You are comfortable learning new technology quickly. Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, productivity

software, CRMs, or AI tools is helpful, but you do not need to be a technical expert.


You are proactive and resourceful. When something needs to get done, you figure out how to make it

happen.


You enjoy solving problems independently and don’t need constant direction.


You are early in your career and looking for an opportunity that will accelerate your learning and

responsibility.


You are reliable, trustworthy, and excited to take on increasing ownership as the company grows.


You are based in Dallas and available to work in person Monday through Friday.

Compensation & Growth


$55,000 – $70,000 base salary depending on experience


Performance-based increases as you grow in the role


Direct mentorship from a founder building a growing company


Opportunity to grow into an operations or Chief of Staff–type role over time
