Role Description:
The Event Sponsorship Manager (Commission Model) is a full-time, remote role. This role is responsible for identifying, pitching, and securing sponsorships from brands that align with onboarded curated IRL experiences. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and building a pipeline of potential sponsors, developing tailored sponsorship proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals on a commission-based compensation model. The Manager will collaborate closely with event hosts and the internal team to align sponsorship packages with event formats, audience profiles, and brand objectives. Ongoing responsibilities also include managing sponsor relationships, ensuring high-quality on-site brand activation, tracking performance metrics, and providing post-event reports to partners.
Compensation:
The compensation is strictly commission-based, which can convert into retainer + commission in 3 months. The commission on projects will range between 10-20% of the commission value.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess strong Event Marketing and Communication skills to effectively position sponsorship opportunities and build lasting brand partnerships.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and basic commercial acumen to structure sponsorship tiers, forecast revenue, and manage financial aspects of sponsored events.
- Candidates should have proven experience in sponsorship sales or business development, ideally within events, media, or brand partnerships.
- Candidates should demonstrate negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred; familiarity with tech-enabled or AI-driven platforms is an advantage.
- Comfort with a commission-based compensation model, along with self-motivation, goal orientation, and the ability to work both independently and in hybrid teams, is essential.
