Event and Community Manager

Position Title: Community & Event Manager

Position Description: This position at Red Coyote is the marketing event liaison. This individual is responsible for maintaining and establishing partnerships and planning community outreach events. Red Coyote has built our brand with the help of vendor and community partners, and Red Coyote events are essential to Red Coyote’s growth and Red Coyote’s mission to give back to our communities.

The Community and Event Manager is responsible for representing Red Coyote in a variety of capacities throughout the community, our stores, and virtually. Our ideal candidate is someone who is organized, outgoing, loves to connect with people and build relationships, is comfortable planning, leading, and executing events, and is someone who is team-oriented. 

Reporting:

1. Reports to the Director of Marketing

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, motivate and inspire team members to always create the Red Coyote experience
2. Work the sales floor supporting team members as a Fit Coach 21 hours/week 
3. Organize and attend Red Coyote events
4. Establish and maintain relationships with community and vendor partners via email and physical meetings
5. Create and manage cross marketing with vendors and other community partners.
6. Capture content for social marketing and media at events
7. Work with Director of Marketing to brainstorm and launch new events
