Job Description

Position: Security Expert AI Benchmark & Vulnerability Annotation

Type: Short-term Contract

Compensation: Up to $19 per hour

Location: Remote Commitment: 8 hours per day with 4 hours overlap with PST

Duration: 1 Month

Start Date: Immediate

Role Responsibilities

Design and develop complex multi-step security challenges across application security, cloud environments, APIs, binary exploitation, cryptographic weaknesses, and supply chain attacks
Map benchmark scenarios to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, and OWASP ASVS
Create grading rubrics and ground-truth solutions for security evaluations
Review and annotate benchmark samples for validity, reachability, exploitability, and clarity
Identify unrealistic assumptions, inaccuracies, and oversimplified vulnerabilities
Produce structured metadata including difficulty ratings and domain categories
Collaborate with AI lab evaluation teams to improve benchmark quality and coverage
Provide security architecture input for benchmark hosting and evaluation pipelines

Requirements

7+ years of experience in offensive or applied security roles including penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability research, or application security
Proven experience identifying, reproducing, and documenting vulnerabilities across web applications, cloud environments, APIs, and systems-level software
Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CVE/CVSS methodologies, and exploit development fundamentals
Deep understanding of advanced security challenge design and vulnerability analysis
