Equity Research Associate

Experience:

• Work experience of 3 years in equity research & investment analysis in sell side, portfolio advisory, etc.
• Preference towards candidates with equity research experience in buy side (such as Asset Management Company).

Analytical & Research Skillset:

• Proven ability to conduct independent, in-depth research and provide actionable investment insights.
• Strong capability in bottom-up and top-down research approaches.
• Ability to generate sectoral, macroeconomic, and company-specific reports.
• Preference towards candidate with sector agnostic research background

Technical Skillset:

• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, etc.), and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ, or similar.
• Familiarity with industry-specific metrics and economic indicators.
• Ability to use statistical tools

Performance Track Record:

• Demonstrated history of accurate forecasts, high-conviction calls, or meaningful contributions to portfolio returns.
• References or samples of past work, such as investment memos or reports, would be required.
