Equity Dealer

Key Responsibilities

 Execute client orders in equities, derivatives, and other financial instruments

accurately and efficiently.

 Monitor real-time market trends, analyse price movements, and provide

investment recommendations.

 Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on market

developments, order status, and portfolio performance.

 Conduct research on companies, sectors, and market news to support trading

decisions.

 Adhere strictly to regulatory and compliance requirements while conducting all

transactions.

 Collaborate with internal teams including research analysts and traders to

develop and implement trading strategies.

 Maintain detailed records of trades, confirmations, and margin requirements.

 Manage risk by assessing market conditions and client positions.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

 Prior experience (2-5 years) as an Equity Dealer or similar role in a stock

broking environment.

 Sound knowledge of stock markets, trading platforms, and financial products.

 Certification such as NISM, NCFM, or AMFI is preferred.

 Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

 Ability to perform well under pressure and commit to confidentiality.
