Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payment Agent role based in Kottayam. The Payment Agent will handle daily payment processing, including receiving, verifying, and recording customer payments across various channels. The role involves reconciling transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring all payments comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Payment Agent will liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies, answer basic account-related questions, and provide clear updates on payment status. The position also includes preparing routine payment reports, supporting audits, and assisting with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Only apply if you are living in Kottayam. Qualifications

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate payment processing, reconciliation, and record-keeping.
• Proficiency with basic accounting or billing software, spreadsheets, and digital payment platforms.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple transactions, meet deadlines, and follow standardized procedures.
• Integrity, reliability, and a high level of confidentiality when handling financial data and sensitive information.
• Ability to work on-site in Kottayam and collaborate within a structured team environment.
• Secondary or higher education in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in payments, cashiering, banking, or accounts receivable is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated learners.
