The organization is focused on transforming fragmented healthcare workflows into seamless, data-driven, and digitally connected experiences through scalable technology solutions.


About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering squads responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend engineering, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, healthcare data platforms, and people management.


This individual will play a pivotal role in building next-generation solutions for healthcare interoperability, provider connectivity, healthcare data exchange, automated claims adjudication, and AI-driven workflow orchestration. The role requires driving engineering excellence, mentoring teams, influencing architecture decisions, and ensuring timely delivery of business-critical initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, technical leads, and architects while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and engineering excellence.
  • Drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare technology platforms.
  • Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems, microservices architectures, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Build and scale healthcare data platforms that enable seamless interoperability across insurers, hospitals, diagnostics providers, and digital health ecosystems.
  • Drive the development of automated claims adjudication, workflow automation, and intelligent decision-support systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, and Customer Success teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery roadmaps.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-driven workflows, orchestration platforms, and intelligent automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure timely and predictable delivery of product releases while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and security.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices across software development, architecture, code quality, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, and platform operations.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure, observability, monitoring, performance optimization, and operational excellence across the technology stack.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define technology strategy, engineering priorities, and long-term platform roadmap.
  • Support hiring, performance management, career development, and retention of top engineering talent while building a high-performing and scalable engineering organization.



Required Qualifications & Experience:


  • 12+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience leading teams of 10–30 engineers across multiple product streams.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern data platforms.
  • Experience building workflow automation, business process orchestration, or decisioning systems.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-powered applications, intelligent automation, or data-intensive platforms will be an advantage.
