We are seeking a skilled Network Operations and Maintenance professional to join our team. This operational role is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality outcomes and may seek guidance and advice as needed to ensure excellence in their work. Responsibilities Responsibilities Maintain, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot network tools and equipment. Assist with and implement installations for new and existing customer and internal projects, including: Terminations Testing Labeling of common transmission mediums Hardware installations Ensure SLAs are achieved and work proactively to maintain them. Conduct Vulnerability Assessments For Networks Servers Applications Operating systems Conduct network security audits and scanning on a predetermined basis. Compile and track vulnerabilities over time for metrics purposes. Timely upgrade of all tools used and their related documents, including: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Technical documentation Desired Skill sets Basic knowledge of DWDM related equipment including Ciena 6500, Wave server, Huawei, Adva etc. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Prior experience in providing technical support in fast-paced, high-availability, 24x7 environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. In-depth understanding of network protocols, devices, and technologies, including routing, switching, and network security. Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
