The opportunity Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Data Science Engineer for our Transformers of Business to join their team in Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. The business?s comprehensive portfolio includes power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors, and transformer services. How You?ll Make An Impact Data Science Engineer focuses on developing and creating Business intelligence reports, Automation of workflow using Power Apps in coordination with the global Hitachi Energy factory based on requirements. Responsible for building visualizations in PBI based on various sources and datasets of power transformers factories Responsible for DAX queries / DAX functions / Power Query Editor Responsible for development of transformer dashboard in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on requirement. Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set. Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards. Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources. Familiar with Row Level Security (RLS) Basic knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps etc. Experienced in connecting different data sources in 1 Power BI. Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background Bachelor?s degree of Electrical or Mechanical or Data Science Engineering. 4- 8 years? experience working in Data Analytics from start to end process. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered. Experience of manufacturing industry is an additional advantage. Extended MS Office knowledge & skills, especially excel but also e.g. PowerPoint, etc. Experience with SAP / S4 HANA -Data handling Preferred. Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Expertise in using advanced level calculations on the data set. Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards. Basic knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps etc. Demonstrated team building and networking skills would be a preference. DA-100 certification preferred.
