EMS - AVP Sourcing & Procurement - Semiconductors/ Electronics Distributors

About the role:

Looking for a Senior sourcing and procurement leader with deep, hands-on experience in global electronic components procurement and global vendor development.

• Lead sourcing strategies for electronic components, and develop a robust vendor network.
• Conduct market research, evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, foster long-term partnerships, and ensure supply chain efficiency.
• Build and scale global supplier relationships
• Drive cost optimization and margin improvement
• Identify and qualify new vendors and technologies
• Work closely with sales, product, and operations to ensure speed and reliability of supply.

Good to have:

• Prior 7+ years experience in sourcing semiconductors, passives, connectors, electromechanical parts, and related electronic components

• Proven track record of developing and managing suppliers in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia

• Strong understanding of authorized distributors, OEM/EMS ecosystems, and grey/independent markets

• Ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs, LTAs, and payment terms at scale

• Experience in cost reduction, alternate part qualification, risk mitigation, and supply continuity

• Comfortable handling high-velocity RFQs, bulk procurement, and cross-border logistics

• Existing supplier network is a big plus

• Extremely proactive, execution-focused, and data-driven

• Strong communicator with international vendors and internal stakeholders
