Role/ Job Title: Employee Relations Manager

Function/ Department: Employee Relations & HR Compliance

Job Purpose

The Employee Relations (ER) Manager plays a critical role in managing and resolving employee-related issues while ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal policies. Role is part of the Employee Relations & HR Compliance function within the Human Resources department.

The ER Manager is responsible for overseeing disciplinary cases, driving timely resolutions, maintaining accurate documentation, and implementing strategies to reduce ER incidents. The role also includes managing the IFBL Lifecycle and ensuring process adherence, reporting, and financial management related to IFBL operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track disciplinary cases across the organization.
  • Ensure timely closure of absconding and other critical ER cases without escalation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive repository of disciplinary cases.
  • Conduct investigations, prepare fact-finding reports, and implement decisions.
  • Develop strategies to reduce the number of ER cases.
  • Handle day-to-day cases related to Garden Leave.
  • Ensure 100% completion of mandatory POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training modules by employees.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Monitor adherence to IFBL lifecycle processes.
  • Review disciplinary cases within the IFBL Supporting Bank.
  • Publish IFBL lifecycle-related reports for various stakeholders.
  • Manage monthly payments and invoice processing related to IFBL.

Education Qualification

Graduation: Bachelor’s degree any relevant stream

Post-graduation: Any Stream

Experience

05 to 10 years of relevant experience in employee relations, HR compliance, labour law administration and and regulatory compliance.

Effective investigation and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.

Ability to manage sensitive cases with discretion and professionalism.

Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
