This role focuses on program ownership, project management, and cross functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is skilled at building strong networks across subject matter experts (SMEs), product divisions, sales enablement, and regional commercial teams to facilitate the creation and delivery of impactful, relevant, and commercially aligned technical training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development & Management
- Design, build, and manage a comprehensive EMEA-wide technical training program, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regional needs.
- Conduct skill gap analyses, identify training priorities, and translate findings into structured development roadmaps.
- Implement program management frameworks to ensure consistent, scalable delivery across countries, segments, and product lines.
- Collaborate closely with a wide network of SMEs, product divisions, commercial teams, and sales enablement to ensure accurate, relevant, and holistic training content.
- Facilitate information flow across functions, ensuring training materials reflect both technical features and functionalities as well as the commercial “how to sell” aspects of Eaton products.
- Build strong partnerships across the EMEA region to continuously shape training direction based on market dynamics and business strategy.
- Oversee the development, curation, and maintenance of training content, including instructor-led sessions, virtual training, e-learning modules, and digital assets.
- Ensure all materials are kept up to date, reflect product evolution, and explicitly incorporate value propositions, competitive positioning, and commercial selling elements.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to align training curricula with go to market strategies, value selling approaches, and commercial readiness objectives.
- Support the creation of tools, playbooks, and resources that improve sales effectiveness and product confidence.
- Track the effectiveness of training programs using defined metrics and KPIs.
- Analyze data to produce actionable insights, program improvements, and recommendations for ongoing innovation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and product roadmap updates.
- Ensure training programs support Eaton’s evolving portfolio and commercial strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five years of experience in B2B sales environment.
- Demonstrated sales or commercial experience, ideally involving value selling.
- Strong program or project management experience, with proven ability to build structured programs from the ground up.
- Experience in electrical/manufacturing industry with solid understanding of Eaton-relevant product families (e.g., electrical distribution, communication and metering systems) and the EMEA sales ecosystem.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver on schedule.
- Collaborative working style and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels across a large organization.
- Strategic and analytical thinker, capable of identifying skill gaps, defining training priorities, and mapping development pathways.
- Strong attention to detail, time management capabilities, and customer centric mindset.
