Embedded Software Engineer - Silicon Validation

Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer – Silicon Validation Enablement

Work Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded C software, device drivers, and reusable validation frameworks
• Develop bare-metal and RTOS-based software for SoC bring-up and subsystem validation
• Understand SoC architecture (Camera, Display, GPU, Memory, Security, etc.) and implement corresponding low-level software layers
• Build scalable frameworks reusable across emulation, FPGA, and silicon platforms
• Collaborate with RTL, architecture, and silicon validation teams
• Debug and optimize embedded software on emulators, FPGA platforms, and development boards
• Contribute to coding standards, design reviews, and technical documentation

Required Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming
• Solid understanding of low-level embedded system design
• Experience developing device drivers (UART, I2C, SPI, eMMC, USB, I2S)
• Good knowledge of ARM architecture and SoC subsystems
• Experience with bare-metal programming and boot-time software
• Hands-on debugging experience in hardware-software interaction
• Familiarity with Git / Gerrit or similar version control systems
