Embedded Finance Process Expert (S/4HANA Transformation Project) 1. Role Overview The Interim Embedded Finance Process Expert will join the Finance Transformation Project Team to provide specialized support during the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation. This individual will bring hands-on experience from previous S/4HANA programs, deep end-to-end process knowledge, and a strong understanding of best practices to challenge the status quo and guide the organization toward a best-in-class finance model. 2. Objective of the Role The expert will act as an embedded advisor within the global finance transformation structure. Accounting cross stream advisor and interact with project stakeholders, cross steam leaders within the project. 3. Key Responsibilities ? Act as a senior advisor to the Accounting ( & Controlling ) Stream lead during S/4HANA implementation. ? Actively contribute to Fit-to-best practices and process validation workshops across finance streams (P2P, O2C, R2R, Controlling). ? Bring benchmark insights and best practices to strengthen global process harmonization and automation. ? Challenge existing ways of working constructively to drive standardization and simplification. ? Support design documentation (LPD, RACI, controls mapping) and ensure quality of process deliverables. 4. Required Experience & Qualifications ? Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance Transformation roles, including at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations. ? Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Controlling (CO). ? Proven ability to align business processes with SAP best practices and challenge design decisions when needed. ? SAP Signavio experience. (preferred) ? Experience working with cross-functional and multi-regional teams in complex organizational environments. ? Strong documentation and communication skills, with ability to produce high-quality process materials (Visio, Signavio, Excel, PPT). 5. Behavioral Attributes ? Engagement Type: Interim (Outsourced Consultant embedded within Transformation Program). ? Duration: [6 months with possible extension]. ? Reporting Line: Global Process Driver & - Functional within project Stream Leads ( Accounting & Controlling ) ? Location: Remote with periodic travel to key project hubs as required. ? Expected Deliverables: Workshop facilitation outputs, process validation reports, design documentation reviews, and improvement recommendations. 7. Expected Outcomes ?
