Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer for a contract-based on-site role located in Chennai. The role involves overseeing electrical project execution, managing schedules, and ensuring quality compliance with established standards. Responsibilities include creating project plans, coordinating with clients and contractors, performing site inspections, and preparing detailed reports. The Electrical Project Engineer will also handle budgeting, procurement, and technical problem-solving to ensure timely delivery of projects. This position demands strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering expertise, including electrical system design, planning, and project management
• Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and procurement processes
• Proficiency in conducting site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance evaluations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for engineering and project management
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in construction or large-scale engineering projects is an advantage
