Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Florence, Kentucky that's expanding its Manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Experience designing electrical control panels or cabinets for industrial machinery based on established standards and customer specifications
  • Proficiency in creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs) using CAD or electrical design software
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including controls, drives, and component selection
  • Ability to support customers and field service teams by troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues
  • Experience contributing to new equipment design and improving existing products from an electrical and controls perspective
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and direction for electrical design and assembly activities (without direct supervisory responsibility)
  • Experience planning and managing electrical design tasks in coordination with engineering leadership
  • Ability to estimate effort, manage timelines, and meet project deadlines in a production-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on recommending design, equipment, and process improvements
  • Experience integrating automation technologies such as robotics, vision systems, and automated controls into equipment
  • Ability to support manufacturing operations with drawing updates, BOM changes, and hands-on troubleshooting
  • Experience participating in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical assemblies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations, including UL, CSA, NFPA, and OSHA
  • Experience with capital equipment design within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and field service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation, communication, and basic analysis
