Location: Periyapalayam, Chennai

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Electrical Engineer to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of electrical systems and machinery in the factory. The candidate should have experience in industrial electrical systems and be capable of minimizing downtime through timely maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
Ensure smooth functioning of motors, panels, control circuits, and electrical equipment.
Identify and rectify electrical faults in machines, panels, wiring, and control systems.
Reduce machine downtime by quick fault diagnosis.
Maintain electrical control panels, MCC panels, and distribution boards.
Oversee motor connections, starters, VFDs, and electrical drives.
Ensure electrical safety standards are followed in the factory.
Maintain proper earthing, insulation, and electrical protection systems.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance activities.
Monitor and maintain utilities such as compressors, pumps, lighting systems, and power distribution.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Coordinate with external vendors when required.
