Job: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Diesel and Gas Generators - ie. CAT, Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson, etc) Location: Oman Industry: Power Generation / Generator Rental Experience: 3-7 Years in Generators or heavy equipment maintenance ***Experience in Oman or any GCC countries is preferred. Job Summary: Responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of rental generators and associated equipment at client sites. Ensure reliable power delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical installation and commissioning of diesel and gas generators. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and control panels. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick restoration of power. Support synchronization, load testing, and system integration activities. Coordinate with mechanical and protection teams for seamless operations. Ensure all electrical work complies with company and local HSE standards. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering. 3?7 years of experience in power generation or industrial electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of generator control systems, switchgear, and electrical protection. Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and control wiring drawings.
