Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer – Wiring Harness
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: 3–5 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in wiring harness design and CAD tools. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical harness solutions, performing component selection, and supporting design engineering projects. Experience in NPD, QnR, and VAVE projects is an added advantage.

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical harness solutions, performing component selection, and supporting design engineering projects. Experience in NPD, QnR, and VAVE projects is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop wiring harness designs using Creo Cabling, Creo Schematics, Pro-Diagram, and AutoCAD
- Create and modify electrical schematics and harness layouts based on project requirements
- Perform electrical network analysis and component selection (wires, connectors, terminals, fuses)
- Prepare engineering documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM), and change notices
- Ensure adherence to internal design standards and ASME Y14.5M drafting principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support ongoing production projects
- Handle design and drawing release with minimal supervision
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Work effectively with changing priorities and project demands
- Strong experience in Creo Cabling & Creo Schematics, Pro-Diagram, AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience in wiring harness design and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of component selection (connectors, terminals, wire sizing, fuses)
- Good understanding of ASME Y14.5M drafting standards
- Experience in BOM preparation and engineering documentation
- Exposure to NPD, QnR, VAVE projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in HVAC domain
- Knowledge of electrical system design and integration
- Familiarity with design standardization and process improvements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good understanding of project management concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong problem-solving and presentation skills
