Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Design Engineer based in Gandhinagar. The Electrical Design Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and circuits for ultrasonic equipment, including power supplies, control panels, and protection schemes. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts, selecting components, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with mechanical and electronics teams, supporting prototype build and testing, troubleshooting design issues, and implementing design improvements based on performance data and customer feedback. The engineer will also prepare technical documentation, support manufacturing and service teams, and contribute to continuous product innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Distribution, with the ability to apply these principles to industrial equipment.
• Hands-on experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including schematic creation, layout, and component selection.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical standards, safety regulations, and best practices for industrial systems.
• Proficiency with CAD/EDA tools for electrical design and documentation (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, E-CAD, or similar).
• Ability to analyze and debug electrical circuits, perform root-cause analysis, and support testing and validation activities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Experience with power electronics, control systems, or ultrasonic equipment is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in Gandhinagar.
