Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor or automation domain. The role focuses on electrical schematics, cable & harness design, power distribution, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and panel layouts
• Develop cable & harness design (high priority) including routing and cable lists
• Design AC/DC power distribution systems and control panels
• Perform electrical calculations (load, breaker sizing, transformer, thermal)
• Design safety circuits (EMO, interlocks) as per standards
• Select components (breakers, sensors, drives, motors, connectors)
• Upgrade legacy systems and replace obsolete components
• Prepare BOM and technical documentation
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting
• Work with PLC-based systems for control and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in cable & harness design (mandatory)
• Electrical schematic & panel design
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley)
• Knowledge of IEC / NFPA / UL / NEC standards
• Tools: SEE Electrical / EPLAN / AutoCAD / DraftSight / Visio
• Basic PCB design knowledge (OrCAD, Altium, Eagle – low priority)

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience
