Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced EIS Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise insurance solutions on the EIS platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth, insurance domain expertise, and leadership capability to drive complex EIS implementations and mentor development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of EIS modules, ensuring compliance with architecture, coding, and design standards.
• Design and implement complex business rules, workflows, and custom configurations on the EIS platform.
• Develop and manage integrations, APIs, and interfaces with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Support release management, deployment activities, and production issue troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and development governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the EIS platform, including configuration, scripting, and customization.
• Strong understanding of the insurance domain (Policy, Billing, Claims, Product Configuration).
• Expertise in EIS product capabilities, business rules, and workflow modeling.
• Solid experience with API development, system integrations, and middleware technologies.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies and modern application architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proven experience in leading small development teams and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in large-scale insurance transformation programs.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
