Ecommerce & Product Compliance

The Opportunity

This role owns end-to-end regulatory and compliance governance across product design, certification, market access, and lifecycle commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ecommerce marketplace compliance across Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Wayfair, Best Buy, and others
• End-to-end product regulatory compliance across all countries and channels (ecommerce + non-ecommerce)
• Manage certifications: cETL / ETL / UL, CSA, CE, UKCA, AU/NZ (SAA / RCM / EESS)
• Ensure compliance with energy regulations: US DOE, NRCan, CEC, EU EcoDesign, AU requirements
• Maintain regulatory documentation: DoC, test reports, labeling, manuals
• Conduct audits, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation
• Protect revenue by preventing listing suppression, delisting, and regulatory failures
• Integrate compliance into product development, sourcing, and packaging
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, QA, Supply Chain, Legal, and Ecommerce teams
  
  

Candidate Profile

• 8–15 years of experience in Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Ecommerce Compliance
• Strong experience in appliances, electronics, or consumer durables
• Proven track record managing multi-country compliance (US, Canada, UK/EU, Australia)
• Hands-on knowledge of cETL, DOE, CE, UKCA, AU/NZ certifications and energy compliance
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness
  
  

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline) is mandatory
• Advanced qualifications in regulatory affairs, compliance, or quality systems are an advantage
