Job Title: Data Entry Executive / DTP Associate

Job Location: Kottakkal

Job Purpose

The Data Entry Executive / DTP Operator plays an important role in supporting the creation and production of educational materials such as textbooks, workbooks, brochures, posters, and other learning resources. The role involves designing, formatting, and preparing materials to ensure high-quality printed output.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and Formatting

• Create and format educational materials using desktop publishing software.
• Work with teachers, administrators, and internal teams to understand content requirements and develop clear and visually appealing materials.

Layout and Typesetting

• Arrange text, images, and graphics in an organized layout.
• Maintain proper alignment, font styles, sizes, and consistent formatting across all materials.

Printing and Production

• Manage the printing and production process after design approval.
• Operate printers, plotters, and other printing equipment.
• Ensure printing materials such as paper, ink, and toner are available and maintained.

Quality Control

• Perform quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Check color accuracy, print sharpness, and overall quality before final delivery.

Editing and Proofreading

• Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy and correct errors.
• Coordinate with content creators to maintain clarity and consistency in educational materials.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirement

• Higher Secondary / High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirement

• Freshers or candidates with relevant experience in data entry, DTP, or printing operations can apply.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of desktop publishing software (such as Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with printing equipment and basic production processes.

Communication & Collaboration

• Good communication skills to understand requirements from different teams.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, designers, and content teams.
