Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced DSA + Java Trainer to mentor and train students at Chitkara University. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and Core Java, along with experience in modern web development technologies. You will be responsible for delivering engaging technical sessions, mentoring students on projects, conducting coding assessments, and preparing learners for technical interviews and placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on training on Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and Core Java.
• Teach programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming (OOP), and problem-solving techniques.
• Cover DSA concepts including Arrays, Strings, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, Graphs, Hashing, Searching, Sorting, Recursion, and Dynamic Programming.
• Train students on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Conduct coding assessments, mock interviews, and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Mentor students on capstone projects and real-world application development.
• Review assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for placements through coding challenges and interview practice.
• Track student performance and maintain training reports.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms and Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, Git/GitHub, SQL/NoSQL databases, and software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
• Passion for teaching and helping students become industry-ready.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BCA, or an equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software development, technical training, or mentoring.
• Prior experience in EdTech, coding bootcamps, or university training programs is preferred.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Training college students or fresh graduates.
• Conducting coding contests, hackathons, or placement preparation sessions.
• Building full-stack web applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Mentoring students on real-world projects and technical interview preparation.
