About the Role We are looking for an experienced Drupal Backend Developer with strong expertise in Drupal 10.5+ to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Drupal?s backend systems, hands-on experience with complex migrations, and proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal 10.5+ applications with a focus on backend functionality. Implement and extend Drupal modules using hooks, services, events, and dependency injection. Design and execute complex content and data migrations using Drupal?s Migration API (including JSON and database-to-database migrations). Configure and optimize Elasticsearch integrations with Drupal Search API. Manage configuration across environments using Config Management and Config Split . Work with multisite and multilingual Drupal architectures. Ensure clean, efficient database design (MySQL/MariaDB) and query performance optimization. Deploy and manage solutions on Acquia Cloud. Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Use Git for version control and participate in peer code reviews. Must-Have Skills Strong experience with Drupal 8, 9, and 10 (with proven expertise in Drupal 10.5+). Deep understanding of Drupal Migration API and complex migration projects. Experience with Entity Share Module and Entity API. Proficiency with Form API, Plugin API, Routing System, Migrate API, and Search API . Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch integration via Drupal Search API. Experience in multisite and multilingual setup . Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
