About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software applications, ensuring they meet quality standards, identifying defects, and verifying fixes to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Validate bug fixes and perform retesting as required.
Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and test coverage metrics.
Participate in QA reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Defect Life Cycle.
Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications.
Proficiency with test management and bug-tracking tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is an added advantage.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
