Role: Senior .NET Developer Work Mode: Onsite Location: Chennai Year of Experience: 4 - 7 Years Notice Period: Immediate Good To Have Skills: Communication Must Have Skills: C#, .NET Core 3.1 / .NET 6+, Azure, Docker, ASP.NET MVC Job Description You will be working on a mission-critical ASP.NET Core MVC application that serves as a central data hub for our business. The system relies on a hybrid data architecture, utilizing SQL Server Linked Servers to bridge real-time data from Oracle systems. This role is not just about maintenance; it requires active feature development. We are expanding the application's capabilities while managing complex cross-database queries. You will be responsible for optimizing these inter-database connections (using Dapper/OPENQUERY), ensuring data consistency, and gradually steering the architecture toward modern standards (Containerization & Cloud) without disrupting daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Core Development: Maintain and enhance ASP.NET Core MVC applications (legacy v3.1 and modern v6/8). Containerization: Write and optimize Docker files for existing .NET applications and troubleshoot issues in containerized environments. Cloud Operations: Deploy and debug applications on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), focusing on App Services or Container Instances. Data Access: Implement complex data layers using Dapper, creating efficient connections to Oracle and SQL Server. Database Interoperability: Manage data flow between Oracle and SQL Server using Linked Servers and write optimized SQL queries. Frontend: Build responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery. Required Technical Skills: Backend: .NET Core 3.1 / .NET 6+, C#, ASP.NET MVC. Modern Platforms: Docker (building images, docker-compose), Basic Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Services). Cloud: Experience with Azure (App Service, Azure SQL) or AWS (EC2, RDS). Data: Dapper, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake. Tools: Git, Visual Studio, Jenkins/Azure DevOps. Database: Expert-level SQL skills. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server.
