Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our web development team in delivering cutting-edge solutions aligned with MRI?s strategic vision. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for fostering team growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic vision of the product development organization, ensuring alignment with MRI?s business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap. Team Development: Mentor and coach team members on modern web development best practices, promoting professional growth. Support the technical lead in managing the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Technical Excellence: Define and oversee the architecture of web offerings, utilizing MRI?s preferred tech stacks. Ensure the implementation of best practices and repeatable processes, including mentoring, individual development plans, and recruiting strategies. Project Management: Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Utilize tools like Jira for work tracking and maintain comprehensive documentation. Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team. Encourage proactive problem-solving and a bias for action. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in delivering commercial software solutions. Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, MVC, and front-end frameworks such as angular, React JS. Experience with REST APIs, client-side CSS preprocessors (e.g., LESS, SASS), and responsive web design. Strong knowledge of SQL databases (preferably MS SQL) and SSRS Reports. Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, modern design patterns, and cloud environments like Azure or AWS. Basic understanding of UI/UX standards. Proven experience in leading projects that deliver enterprise software solutions, preferably in a SaaS context. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies. Experience with MRI Software products or enterprise accounting software is a plus.
