We are looking for a Test Engineer – PCS neo

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Required to test Process Automation Software applications like PCS 7 / PCS neo.
• Responsible for writing, reviewing, and executing test cases
• Responsible for writing defect reports and verifying them after fixes.
• Automate Identified Testcases
• Setup the test environments in Lab for different types of tests, which involves configuration of the products under test.
• Requirements and Technical clarifications with partners.
• Implementing “end-user like" scenarios for system testing.
• Develop Automated Tests
  
  

You’ll Win Us Over By

• A degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Technology Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in Engineering, commissioning and testing of Power Plant Automation systems (DCS) or any other processing plants, preferred worked on PCS7.
• Must have worked on protocols like OPC UA, Modbus IEC 60870 (tele control), IEC 61850 (power control).
• Experience of SIMATIC family products like S7-400, S7-300, S7-1500, S7-1200, TIA portal, Scalance, network switches, firewall, S7 CPU.
• Strong control process Domain knowledge is expected with Distributed Control System (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
• Practical experience at project sites and engineering centers would be added benefit.
• The ‘Engineer - Verification / Validation’ is primarily responsible for software testing in product development.
• He / she shall verify and validate the DCS functions ensuring that control applications & configuration are healthy. This includes reviewing, testing and maintaining releases for control applications used by plants. It also includes performing bug analysis, bug testing.
• Experience in Administrator tasks of DCS is preferred.
• Experience of features and functions in a control system.
• Strong Presentation, Communication and Interpersonal skills required. Strong Analytical skills are desirable for handling customer bugs/queries.
