Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/civil engineering
Prior work experience in transmission & distribution is preferred
Proven verbal and written communication and IT skills.
Computer software knowledge in MS-office, Auto-Cad, MicroStation, Analysis software/ tools, Google Earth, Arc-GIS
Knowledge of overhead construction methods and distribution system equipment's.
Knowledge regarding easements, right-of-way, and permitting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work in different roles for different clients both locally and worldwide
Familiarity with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, AND ACI 318 is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare distribution layouts, designs in various distribution software's like ArcGIS, Pole foreman, Ocalc, AUD, etc. and reports to be carried out in accordance with relevant codes of practice, standards, regulatory authorities, and clients' requirements. All under a suitable level of supervision from a Experienced/Senior Engineer.
Carry out appropriate reviews of submissions and provide review reports.
Participate in technical meetings with clients.
Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer
Ensure that all duties are carried out according to the company's Quality Systems Procedures.
A committed team player able to work on own initiative
Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate effectively with internal team members and US team members.

Qualifications

The candidate should have a BE in Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering. The candidate should have a work experience of 2-4 years.

This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
