Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ludhiana for a Director – Students' Welfare. The Director will play a critical role in overseeing student welfare initiatives, facilitating personal and academic development programs, promoting student engagement, and ensuring a safe and inclusive campus environment. Responsibilities include managing student support services, addressing their concerns, organizing extracurricular and wellness programs, and collaborating with university leadership to enhance student life.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills for managing student welfare programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to address student needs and concerns effectively.
  • Experience in event planning, counseling, and implementing student engagement or wellness activities.
  • Knowledge of university policies and compliance for promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, team management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle diverse student issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • A Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a related field (a doctoral degree is preferred).
  • Prior experience in student counseling, welfare management, or related roles in educational institutions is an advantage.
