Job Description
FEED MILL DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
- Direct accountability for the results of Feed Mill Operations including, but not limited to quality, costs, personnel, safety, housekeeping, maintenance and customer service.
- Work with senior management to provide process efficiency improvements and changes to the manufacturing systems.
- Ensure government regulation compliance with the FDA, OSHA, EPA etc.
- Acts as SME for Production Managers related to Feed operations.
- Manage and oversee manufacturing operations, from feed ordering to mill management.
- Develop and implement ration formula and selection processes, as well as ingredient selection and research to ensure optimal feed quality and cost.
- Develop and implement biosecurity protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
