Role Description The Director of Enterprise Student Applications is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. This position oversees the strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization of enterprise student applications, including student information systems and related platforms used across the institution. The director leads and mentors a team responsible for application configuration, integration, testing, and support, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with institutional needs. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with academic and administrative stakeholders to define requirements, prioritizing enhancements and projects, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring application performance and user satisfaction. The role also involves establishing governance standards, ensuring regulatory and data compliance, and driving continuous improvement in processes and student-focused technology services.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing enterprise student applications or student information systems within higher education.
• Strong background in ERP platforms, integrations, and application lifecycle management, including planning, implementation, and support.
• Solid understanding of IT governance, information security principles, and data privacy regulations relevant to educational institutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and align technology initiatives with institutional objectives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on improving user experience and operational efficiency.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including mentoring, performance management, and capacity planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
• Prior experience working with higher education IT environments and familiarity with student lifecycle processes is highly beneficial.
