2 Hour Learning has developed a model enabling students to learn at twice the rate in only two hours per day. This outcome is driven by AI-powered tutoring, mastery-based progression, and a structure that departs fundamentally from traditional classrooms. The results are measurable and significant. We now need a leader who can align execution across varied school implementations, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in evidence-based learning science.
This is a leadership mandate, not a theoretical research position. You will take ownership of academic strategy in execution, establish performance standards, diagnose gaps in delivery, and guide high-performing teams toward concrete outcomes. You will convert our scientific principles into operational rigor and articulate this model to external audiences.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead the expansion and refinement of 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by aligning execution across all schools, raising leadership performance standards, and establishing yourself as the authoritative voice of a movement built on rigorous science and demonstrated outcomes.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Developing academic frameworks that convert learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivation structures, and application architecture.
- Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and outcome delivery across school teams.
- Analyzing data, conducting interviews, and performing observations to produce academic ecosystem reviews that identify high-impact barriers to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the external representative of 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education, to advance systemic shifts in educational thinking.
- Working on isolated curriculum initiatives that lack systemic impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or implementation.
- Transferring accountability for performance to middle management or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or conceptual arguments to win over doubtful stakeholders.

Basic Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment)
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting
