About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Development leader to build and scale our Cross Border business. This role will be responsible for driving international shipment volumes, enterprise client acquisition, and market expansion, with a strong focus on direct export and cross-border e-commerce shipping.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in air express / international courier / cross-border parcel / freight businesses, along with a proven track record in enterprise sales, revenue ownership, and team leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Own and drive aggressive revenue and volume growth for the business
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategy
  • Identify opportunities across exporters, D2C brands, e-commerce sellers, and SMEs
  • Expand presence across key international shipping corridors and export markets

Client Acquisition & Enterprise Sales

  • Drive acquisition of large enterprise clients and high-volume shippers
  • Build relationships with CXOs, founders, and supply chain leaders
  • Lead negotiations and closure of high-value, long-term commercial contracts
  • Focus on volume-led growth and wallet share expansion

Solutioning & Strategic Sales

  • Design scalable cross-border shipping solutions
  • Position offerings around speed, reliability, and delivery SLAs—not just pricing
  • Work closely with pricing, product, and operations teams to build competitive commercial models

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing Business Development team across the region
  • Drive strong pipeline discipline, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasting
  • Set clear sales processes, targets, and performance frameworks
  • Mentor teams on hunting, deal closure, and account growth


Preferred Experience

  • 10–18 years of experience in Air Express / International Courier / Cross Border Parcel business
  • Strong background in asset-backed air cargo models or express logistics (non-freight forwarding)
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales, large deal closures, and revenue ownership
  • Deep understanding of export shipping, cross-border e-commerce, and parcel logistics
  • Experience in building and scaling high-performing sales teams
