Job Responsibilities

1. Revenue Assurance & Contract Governance

• Review and interpret client contracts to determine revenue recognition treatment
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15 / ASC 606)
• Identify revenue leakages and implement controls to prevent them
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Delivery teams to structure commercially and financially sound contracts

2. Revenue Recognition & Accruals

• Oversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across all business lines
• Finalize monthly revenue accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
• Ensure proper cut-off, matching, and completeness of revenue
• Drive automation and standardization in revenue accounting processes

3. Billing & Invoicing

• Supervise billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Align billing milestones with contractual terms and delivery outputs
• Resolve discrepancies between contracts, delivery, and invoicing

4. Collections & Working Capital Management

• Lead collections strategy and execution to optimize cash flow
• Monitor aging, drive reduction in DSO, and improve cash conversion cycle
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment disputes

5. R2R Process Ownership

• Own the end-to-end Record-to-Report cycle related to revenue
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit readiness
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX / audit compliance (if applicable)

6. Analytics & Reporting

• Develop dashboards for revenue tracking, leakage analysis, and forecasting
• Provide insights on revenue trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership
• Support FP&A with revenue forecasts and variance analysis

7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build and lead a high-performing revenue assurance team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Legal, Finance, and Operations
• Act as a key advisor to leadership on revenue-related matters

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

- 12–18+ years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A / Revenue Finance

- Strong expertise in working capital, revenue models, and strategic finance

- Experience in IT/Analytics/Consulting preferred

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
