Job Description ? Diploma Trainee Engineer / ITI Trainee Department: Production or Quality Location: Goa Plant Employment Type: One-Year Traineeship (Under Third-Party Roll ? NATS / National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) Shift: 3 Shift Rotational | 6 Days Working Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated Diploma Trainee Engineers and ITI Trainees to join our Production and Quality departments within our Optical Fibre Cable Manufacturing Plant. This role offers hands-on training, industry exposure, and long-term career growth opportunities for fresh technical talent. Key Responsibilities Production Operate and monitor Optical Fibre Cable manufacturing machinery on the shop floor. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Support in maintaining production workflow and achieving daily/weekly targets. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues under supervisor guidance. Perform basic maintenance checks and ensure workplace safety. Quality Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of Optical Fibre Cables. Perform quality tests such as OTDR, attenuation tests, tensile tests, etc. (training provided). Record and maintain quality metrics and documentation. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality norms. Assist Quality Engineers in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Eligibility Criteria Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Telecommunication) ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical or relevant trade) Freshers or 0?1 year experience Willingness to work in rotational shifts Physically fit to work in a manufacturing environment Stipend & Compensation Diploma Trainee: ?2,04,000 annually (?17,000 per month gross) ITI Trainee: ?1,98,000 annually (?16,500 per month gross) Production Incentive: Minimum ?2,500 (applicable after 3 months) Leave Benefits: 15 Sick Leaves annually Facilities & Benefits Accommodation: Company guesthouse facility available for initial 14 days (if required) Food: Subsidized canteen Transport: As per company policy Uniforms & PPE: Provided by company
