Role Overview

Job Summary

BLS International is seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead Government Relations, Public Relations, and Strategic Business Development initiatives. The role requires building and nurturing strong relationships with Ministries, Embassies, Consulates, apex national chambers, and key stakeholders to strengthen business partnerships and create new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly networked among these stakeholders, commercially driven, and capable of engaging with senior government officials, diplomats, and industry leaders with confidence and professional excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Ministries, Government Departments, Consulates, Embassies, and apex national chambers in India and overseas.
  • Act as the key liaison between the organization and above mentioned staekholders, for business-related matters.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities, overseas partners, through strategic networking, client engagement, and relationship management.
  • Plan, develop, and execute Public Relations and stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance corporate visibility and reputation.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at bid meetings, conferences, trade forums, business events, and official engagements.
  • Handle confidential matters, sensitive documentation, and strategic discussions with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Leverage existing diplomatic, government, and industry networks while cultivating new high-value relationships.
  • Manage team performance and inter-personal relationships with colleagues and peers.


Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 18-22 years in International Relations, Business Development, Corporate Affairs, or Strategic Partnerships with stakeholders globally.
  • Proven experience in dealing with senior officials, bureaucrats, diplomats, embassies, ministries, and regulatory authorities.
  • Strong understanding of processes in government, diplomatic core and apex chambers, and relationship-building strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage high-level engagements independently.
  • Proficient in AI tools, Microsoft Office applications & MS Outlook etc.
