Role Overview

We are looking for a Developer Relations (DevRel) Specialist to help build and grow MarsDevs' presence within the developer and technology ecosystem.

As a DevRel Specialist, you will act as the bridge between our engineering team and the broader developer community. You will create technical content, engage with developers, host webinars and events, promote engineering best practices, and help establish MarsDevs as a trusted voice in AI, product engineering, and emerging technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloper Advocacy

• Represent MarsDevs within developer communities and technology networks.
• Build relationships with developers, founders, CTOs, and technology leaders.
• Act as a trusted technical voice for the company.
• Promote knowledge sharing and community engagement.

Content & Thought Leadership

• Create technical blogs, tutorials, articles, and case studies.
• Develop content around AI, LLMs, RAG, software architecture, cloud technologies, and product engineering.
• Create LinkedIn content and technical insights that showcase MarsDevs' expertise.
• Work with engineering teams to highlight project successes and technical innovations.

Community Engagement

• Participate in developer forums, online communities, and social platforms.
• Organize and host webinars, workshops, technical sessions, and meetups.
• Build and nurture relationships with developer communities and technology groups.
• Encourage discussions around emerging technologies and industry trends.

Feedback & Market Insights

• Gather feedback from developers and technology communities.
• Monitor industry trends, developer tools, and emerging technologies.
• Share insights and recommendations with internal teams and leadership.

Employer Branding

• Promote MarsDevs' engineering culture and technical achievements.
• Highlight team certifications, technical milestones, and innovation initiatives.
• Support hiring efforts by increasing visibility within the developer ecosystem.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

• Identify opportunities for partnerships with developer communities, technology platforms, and industry groups.
• Collaborate with technology partners on joint webinars, content initiatives, and community programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Developer Relations, Technical Writing, Software Development, Community Management, Technical Marketing, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts, APIs, web technologies, and modern development practices.
• Good understanding of AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Strong written English with the ability to create technical content.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience speaking at webinars, meetups, conferences, or technical events.
• Experience creating technical blogs, tutorials, or educational content.
• Familiarity with developer communities and open-source ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with modern development technologies.
• Active presence on LinkedIn, GitHub, Medium, Dev.to, or other technical platforms.
