What we are looking for

Role: Devops SRE Engineer

Experience Range: 8 to 15 Years

Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Pune/Kochi

Must Have:

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for database operations, deployments, and system integrations

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to provision and manage environments

• Drive automation across build, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reliability

• Configure and maintain monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track system health and performance

• Lead incident management efforts, including troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures

• Evaluate and benchmark distributes platforms like Kafka, YugabyteDB, Cassandra)

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable distributed database clusters

• Optimize data models and queries to ensure performance in distributed environments

• Develop and execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

• Implement resilience and high-availability practices to ensure data integrity and system reliability

• Establish observability frameworks with end-to-end dashboards and alerting mechanisms

• Ensure replication and consistency strategies align with business and application requirements

• Distributed Databases: YugabyteDB, Cassandra, Kafka
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
• CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
• Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Reliability Engineering: High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Resilience Engineering
• Incident Management: RCA, Problem Management, Production Support
• Database Operations: Replication, Backup/Restore, Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning
• DevOps Practices: Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automation Frameworks

Essential:

• 8–15+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Database Operations.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience managing Kafka, Cassandra, YugabyteDB, or similar distributed database platforms.
• Deep understanding of HA/DR architectures, replication, consistency models, and observability frameworks.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, production support, and large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and cloud platform experience.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
