Job Title : DevOps Lead Engineer Experience : 8+ Years Location : Chennai Employment Type : Full-Time Job Summary Our client is looking for a DevOps Lead Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead and manage our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Helm, with a strong background in automating deployments, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure scalability and reliability. Certifications in both Azure and AWS are mandatory. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines. Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Kubernetes clusters. Create, maintain, and manage Helm charts for efficient Kubernetes deployments. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud environments across Azure and AWS. Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. Enforce and monitor compliance, security best practices, and cloud governance policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote DevOps culture and drive engineering excellence. Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and participate in technical decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation. Expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including services like AKS, EKS, networking, and identity management. Mandatory Certifications Microsoft Certified : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or equivalent Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm charts for container orchestration. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools : Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Solid experience with Docker, container registries, and orchestration practices. In-depth knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance best practices. Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
