Job Role:?Devops Engineer Location: Shyamal Cross Road, Ahmedabad Onsite Shift Timing: 7 PM to 4 AM Job Description: DevOps Engineer Position Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Linux, cloud, and automation expertise. This role is fully remote and involves accessing client environments to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions across multiple concurrent projects. Key Responsibilities DevOps & CI/CD Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Develop DevOps strategies to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows. Collaborate with development teams to improve performance, scalability, and reliability. Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Build and manage reusable infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Deploy containerized applications (Docker) to Azure Container Apps, AKS, AWS ECS/EKS, and serverless platforms. Manage Linux and Windows workloads on Azure and AWS, including patching and configuration. Implement secure deployments with IAM/RBAC, VNets/VPCs, private endpoints, and secrets management. Systems Administration Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat). Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources. Implement system security and hardening practices. Integrate and manage Active Directory for Linux and Windows. Device Management & Compliance Implement compliance using Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, and AWS Systems Manager. Observability & Monitoring Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, and enterprise-approved tools. Remote Client Support Access client machines securely for support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Deliver solutions based on client requirements and communicate progress clearly. Provide proper documentation of every task and maintain clear runbooks. Submit an end-of-day work report summarizing activities and progress. Availability Requirements Monitor client and team messages, alerts, and notifications after working hours and on weekends as required by the nature of the role. Respond promptly to critical issues and escalations. Project Execution Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, planning, and delivery. Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies. Required Qualifications 4+ years in DevOps, cloud, or platform infrastructure roles. Strong experience with Azure and AWS, Linux workloads, patching, Intune, and compliance. Hands-on Linux/Windows administration with AD integration. Docker and orchestration experience (AKS, ECS/EKS). Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation. Strong CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and security knowledge. Scripting: Bash, Python. Strong communication and remote-working skills. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AI/ML deployments (Azure OpenAI, etc.). Linux/DevOps certifications (LPIC, RHCE, AWS/Azure DevOps). Experience with Google Cloud (optional). Version control skills (Git, SVN). Monitoring/logging tools: Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
