DevOps Engineer – Digital Assets Infrastructure

Location: UAE (ideally Dubai)

Salary: up to 30,000 AED per month

A rapidly growing institutional digital assets trading platform backed by major global financial institutions is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join its technology team in Dubai.

This organisation provides sophisticated investors with secure access to top-tier digital assets through a highly regulated exchange and brokerage platform. The team combines deep financial markets expertise with modern cloud and trading infrastructure, operating with strict requirements around uptime, security, and compliance.

The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in supporting and scaling a complex production platform running 50+ microservices across multiple environments (Dev, UAT, Production). You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure systems remain stable, secure, and highly performant.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations

• Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters supporting multiple environments and microservices

• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, and RDS to maintain a secure and resilient environment

• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using FluxCD

• Manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment

Security, Compliance & Platform Support

• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and risk standards in a regulated environment

• Manage sensitive configuration and secrets using AWS KMS and Parameter Store

• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana and log aggregation tools

• Provide platform support, triage incidents, and ensure issues are resolved quickly

Projects & Optimisation

• Support upgrades, system implementations, and platform improvements

• Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure SLAs are met

• Apply best practices to optimise infrastructure reliability and performance

Ideal Background

• Strong experience administering Kubernetes clusters in production environments

• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with GitOps (FluxCD) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles

• Experience operating in regulated or security-focused environments is a plus
