Job Role: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 4-8 Years

Location: Chennai

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Cloud Platform Management: Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Automation & Scripting: Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for cloud security, IAM, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and resolve issues quickly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ruby).
  • Good Knowledge in Salesforce

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
