DevOps Engineer

Location: SNP Cloud Technologies, 12th Floor, Western Aqua, Cross Street 1, Whitefields, HITEC City, Hyderabad, Kondapur, Telangana 500081

Job Details: Full-time, Regular, Work from Office

Reports into: Practice Manager

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Assist in creating cloud infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep templates.
Help containerize applications and support deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
Write basic automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash.
Support configuration management tasks with Ansible.
Contribute to simple coding tasks using Python or Go for automation and integrations.
Assist in setting up repositories and maintaining code structure using GitHub, Azure Repos, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to follow DevOps best practices and security standards.
Assist in maintaining secure and compliant cloud environments.
Help configure backups, high availability setups, and disaster recovery solutions.
Support continuous improvement of cloud security processes.
Monitor applications and set up logging and alerting systems.
Troubleshoot basic deployment issues, security alerts, or networking problems under guidance.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields.
Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and containerization.
Foundational knowledge of scripting (Bash or PowerShell).
Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Understanding of version control tools (GitHub, Azure Repos, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, PHP, .NET).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or ELK.
Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
