Job Brief

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (SDE 1) to support our infrastructure and platform engineering efforts. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to help maintain, improve, and scale our infrastructure systems.

You should be eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong foundation in DevOps fundamentals, cloud infrastructure, and automation. Your focus will be on reliability, operational excellence, and improving developer productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining reliability, uptime, and availability of infrastructure systems
• Support development and maintenance of tools and automation to improve developer experience
• Help reduce operational toil through scripting and automation
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and logging setups (observability)
• Work on infrastructure monitoring using industry-standard tools
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
• Follow best practices for security, deployments, and system operations

Requirements & Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Basic understanding of system design and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Experience with AWS or any other cloud provider
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic, or similar
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language

Preferred: Golang or Python (mandatory to have coding experience)

• Working knowledge of one or more databases:

MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

• Good understanding of Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts
