Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps platform for our product systems. This role is focused on automation, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and production operations, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure software delivery at scale.

You will work closely with product engineering teams, take ownership of live production environments, and lead DevOps best practices while remaining deeply involved in implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure AWS infrastructure for product platforms
• Lead hands-on implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows
• Manage and scale containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Own production deployments, release automation, and rollback strategies
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure platform stability
• Participate in on-call rotations and handle production incidents and escalations see to resolution
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort, deployment risks, and operational overhead
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release processes
• Mentor DevOps engineers while remaining actively hands-on
• Having a knowledge of SRE Principles and implementation exposure is a positive. 

Production & On-Call Ownership

• Support 24x7 production environments for customer-facing product systems
• Own operational KPIs such as deployment success rate, environment stability, incident resolution time
• Lead incident troubleshooting and ensure long-term fixes through automation

Required Skills & Experience

• 9–10 years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS: EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS, S3, ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudWatch
• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS in production
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Advanced knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience supporting live production systems and on-call responsibilities
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership and work independently
• Working knowledge of SRE principles .

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with cost optimization and security best practices in AWS
