DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and optimize the firm’s trading infrastructure. This role involves maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems while working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high performance, reliability, and security. This is an onsite position based in Palm Beach County, FL.

DevOps Engineer’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, network devices, and storage systems.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance system performance, logging, and security.
• Identify bottlenecks and single points of failure, developing solutions to mitigate risks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Interface with third-party vendors, service providers, and data centers.
  
  

DevOps Engineer’s Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience automating management and monitoring of large server clusters.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong Linux system administration and performance tuning skills.
• Proficient in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing).
• Experience with storage systems, including LVM, NAS, and object storage.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
